With great anticipation, Sk8terdude went straight to
S.P.I.R.I.T. after school yesterday. The skatepark was open, as promised, but parts of the park were still off-limits, including the new quarter-bowl and the new element added to the side of one of the ramps. Rumor has it that they'll be open at the end of the week.
In the meantime, here are some photos to whet your appetite, plus one of the melted vending machines, just because. And, good news, all of the ramps have new concrete leads, replacing the macadam transfers that were there before, making for a much smoother ride throughout the park.
